We are Chris and Sarah Jones. We are looking to buy our first independent business – one that helps people make beautiful gardens and homes – and to look after it for the long term, keeping the team, the name and the standards that made it worth buying.

Interior design studios and the product businesses behind them – anything that makes the inside of a home feel considered and well made.

Direct-to-consumer brands and wholesale suppliers in the same world. Chris has spent his career building product businesses of exactly this shape.

Two people, not a fund
There is no investment committee behind us and no fund with a five-year clock. It is just the two of us, looking for a business we want to be part of for years rather than months – in a world we genuinely love spending our time in.
Chris
Has spent his career in the pet industry, building and running product businesses – own brands, retail, wholesale and export. He is still involved there, and wants to build something in a sector he loves that he can step further into in time.
Sarah
A qualified accountant who has spent years working for other people. She is stepping away from the mundane end of practice to put that experience into a business of our own.

You can talk to us directly – no broker, no information memorandum, no fees to you. If you would rather work through an adviser, that is completely fine too.
We will be equally straightforward about us: we are private buyers using our own savings, with borrowing alongside depending on the size of the business. We will not waste your time with an offer we cannot fund.
